Turn human biology into open, ownable science.
We believe the next frontier in health research is not just reading biology — it is letting the people who produce the data share in the value it creates. AxonDAO gives researchers ready-to-use GPU power and clean, consent-verified data — while participants keep ownership and a vote in what's built.
A decade of building, one decision at a time.
Not every milestone made the cut. Here are the moments that shaped where AxonDAO is headed.
AxonSystems founded
Started as a healthcare technology company building HIPAA-compliant communication platforms and clinical management tools for hospital networks.
Telehealth and clinical data IP
Developed core intellectual property in virtual visits, mobile clinical research, and healthcare staff management — experience that became the foundation for AxonDAO's research data and consent tools.
Proven under pressure
When COVID-19 hit, AxonSystems infrastructure was integral to hospital network productivity. The team saw firsthand how distributed, user-controlled health data could change outcomes.
AxonDAO formed
The team voted to pursue a DAO structure. AxonDAO LLC was founded, a psychedelic biometrics research study was submitted with UT Dell Med, and the first Charity NFT was listed on DeSciWorld.
AXGT governance token
The AXGT governance token launched, giving the community a vote on protocol decisions and access to GPU rentals.
Enterprise infrastructure
NVIDIA Inception membership, an Oracle Cloud partnership, and the launch of AxonGPU — making enterprise B200 and V100 GPUs available to open health research.
What we stand for.
User-controlled data
The people producing the signal own the science it creates. Consent, transparency, and participant agency are non-negotiable.
Research-grade infrastructure
From HIPAA-compliant messaging to Oracle Cloud GPU clusters, we build systems that meet real scientific and clinical standards.
Open coordination
DeSci means decisions happen in public. Governance, revenue, and roadmap are all visible to the community.
